PRESS RELEASE
To position Ancora Sports at the forefront of grooming Indonesian Golf Champions both at amateur and professional levels by providing the necessary platforms of training, tournaments, and player management. Through this development, our overarching goal is to bring recognition to Indonesian players and Indonesia, with a view of developing Indonesian golf heroes on the world stage.
- Create the necessary platform for Indonesian players to fully achieve their golfing potential through Ancora Golf Institute.
- Design customized programs for those wishing to pursue excellence in golf. The program will focus on developing their playing abilities and other skills required to be successful in golf and life in general. This will allow them to compete at the highest level while being Golf Ambassadors for Indonesia.
- Provide opportunity for the players to compete in both national and international events with the support of Indonesian and Global Businesses.
- Provide a series of local tournaments for both Amateur and Professional Golfers to test and hone the local players and take their game to an elite level.
- Create, Promote, and Manage international tournaments in Indonesia for the Indonesian players to compete against other Asians and World stars, while enhancing the image of the game of golf in Indonesia.
- Work closely with all golfing bodies, clubs and businesses in Indonesia that have similar objectives to develop talent and promote Indonesia.

Indonesia President Invitational
Indonesia President Invitational 2009 was held in July, engaging Asian Tour professional golfers, local pro golfers, and several amateur golfers with a total money price of USD 400.000. The tournament has been held since 2007, and was broadcasted by international sports channel such as ESPN and Star Sports.
2) Ancora Golf Institute at Nusa Dua Bali
Ancora Golf Institute’s branch was officially opened on February 28, 2009 at Bali Golf & Country Club, an internationally acclaimed golf-course located at Nusa Dua, Bali.
Location : Bali Golf and Country Club Kawasan Wisata Nusa Dua, Bali , Indonesia.
3) New Sponsors in 2009
In 2009, Ancora Sports and Ancora Golf Institute succeeded in developing new partnerships with both local and international firms. New sponsors in Indonesia President Invitational 2009: Middle East Coal, Ricoh, Toyota, and Panasonic. Junior Tournaments new sponsors: Perusahaan Gas Negara and Mitra Adiperkasa. Ancora Golf Institute new sponsors: XL dan Medco Energy. Ancora Pro Series new sponsors: MNK, Bormindo, and Ancora Indonesia Resources.
