Destined to be one of Indonesia’s leading tournaments, the Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational has seen Asia’s top golfers striding the fairways since 2007, for a chance at winning one of Indonesia’s most prestigious tournaments.
The Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational, made possible by Title Sponsor Pertamina and Main Sponsor Qatar Telecom, creates a 7-day platform of festivities and unrivalled hospitality. It is a stage to reinforce Indonesia as one of Asia’s hottest golfing hubs.
For the past two years the tournament has successfully attracted many of the best players in the Asian golf scene, boasting big names such as: Chapchai Nirat (2009 SAIL Open Champion), Anthony Kang (2009 Maybank Malaysian Open champion), Noh Seung Yul (2008 Rookie of the Year), Gaganjeet Bhullar (2009 British Open Qualifier), Juvic Pagunsan (2007 Pertamina Invitational Winner), as well as Indonesia’s very own top players: Rory Hidayat Hie (2008 Mercedes-Benz Int’l Championship Winner), who made history as Indonesia’s first golfer to play in both Asian and European Tour, and Andik Mauludin, Indonesia’s #1 Amateur in 2008.
