IPI 2009 Press Conference

The press conference for Indonesia President Invitational 2009 was held at Matoa National Golf Course, in the middle of the final day of Ancora Pro Series 2 Tournament on July 3rd, 2009

The event was graced by the attendance of Mr. Jero Wacik, Indonesia’s Minister of Culture and Tourism as the speaking panel from PGI (Indonesia Golf Association).

Panels from Damai Indah Golf Course, Ancora Sports, PGPI (Indonesia Professional Golf Association) and Asian Tour were also present to speak at the press conference, while representatives from Pertamina (Platinum Sponsor) and Q-Tel (Main Sponsor) attended the event as non-speaking VIP guests.

Shortly after the press conference, a prize giving ceremony for Ancora Pro Series 2 tournament was held at the 18th green of Matoa National Golf Course, in which the names of local golf players eligible to compete in Indonesia President Invitational 2009 were officially announced.
